Descriptive Summary
Founded March 17th, 1957, Emmanuel Baptist Church has always held
to a strong separatist Baptist position, "doctrinal
purity and fervent love for the brethren." We are committed to the
doctrines of grace, and oppose any deviation from historic
fundamentalism. This includes erros to the "left" (New Evangelicalism,
Eccumenical Movements) and those to the extreme "right" (KJV-Only,
Legalism).
After a number of years in a rapidly changing neighborhood, Emmanuel
Baptist found itself almost closing it's doors. It's present status
is "rebuilding" a solid base for future growth and ministry.
