If you could choose one of the above words to signify your desire in life,
which word would you choose?
The Good word is: FORGIVEN
Would you like to be forgiven? If you knew what the bible says about being
forgiven and becoming a christian, would you do what the bible says to do?
I. "THE PERSON"
John 3:18-"He that believeth on him (Jesus) is not condemned: but he that
believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the
name of the only begotten Son of God."
John 3:36-"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that
believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth
on him."
Jesus is the PERSON which is READYm ABLE, and WILLING to FORGIVE us of
our sin.
II. "THE PROMISE"
John 3:16-"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting
life."
John 1:12-"But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them gave he power
(the right) to become the sons of God even to them that believe on
His name."
The promise is that Jesus will FORGIVE ANYONE that will repent of their
sin and receive Him as Saviour.
III. "THE PRAYER"
Psalms 86:5-"For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to FORGIVE; and plenteous
in mercy unto ALL them that call upon thee."
My dear friend, the good word is "FORGIVEN." My heart's desire and prayer
is that you will call upon Jesus. Repent and receive Him as your personal
Saviour.
John 3:7-"Marvel not that I said unto thee, YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN."
II Corinthians 6:2-"...behold, NOW is the accepted time; Now is the day
of salvation."
Acts 3:19-"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be
blotted out....."
Call upon Jesus NOW and ask Him to FORGIVE you of your sin and to come
into your heart and life to be your Saviour.
Pray this if your have a desire to accept Jesus as your own personal
Saviour.
"Dear Jesus, I repent, and turn from my sin. Forgive me, come into my
heart and life and be my Saviour. Save me from hell and the judgement
to come. Save me from an empty life. I trust you Jesus to take me to
heaven some day to live with you forever. Also, help me to have a life
which is complete in you. A life which will honor and glorify you.
Thank you Jesus for the gift of eternal life. In Jesus' name I pray,
Amen."
