Stoughton Baptist Church was founded in 1968 in the Norwegian community of Stoughton, Wisconsin. Stoughton is just outside of Madison and only 40 miles from Watertown, Wisconsin, the home of Maranatha Baptist Bible College.
The church has always enjoyed the benefits of being close to MBBC with students from the college serving in the church. Stoughton Baptist is active in the Wisconsin Fellowship of Baptist Churches and has always taken a strong stand on the fundamentals of the faith.
