El Vista Baptist Church
El Vista Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Church in Peoria, Illinois. We are an English-speaking church, but we also have a Spanish ministry. We have a Christian school, bus ministry, hearing impaired ministry. We use the King James Version, conservative sacred music, and an active teen program. Our children enjoy the Patch the Pirate Club on Wednesdays.
Joey Watt has served as Pastor since January, 1986, and Music/Youth Pastor Phillip Lancaster, started here in 1982. In 2009, we added a Spanish ministry, led by Pastor Jorge Montoya.
