Gospel Light Baptist Church

At Gospel Light Baptist Church, we align ourselves with how Christ wanted to establish his church and conform to his will. We believe here you will find an honest, Christ centered congregation that loves God and his perfect word. We exist to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost (1 Corinthians 15:1-4), edify the saints, and exalt God above all else.

In October 2008, the Lord led Doug Ellis and his family to plant Gospel Light Baptist Church (an Independent Baptist Church) in Roanoke, Texas! Seeking God’s direction, they began services in a storefront located in Roanoke Center. Today we are located on the hilltop. Our church sits on the highest point in Roanoke Texas overlooking Hwy 114.
